  10.  AB    OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the correlation between the clinical status and
  11.        the borderline laboratory results. METHODS: 5800 sera were collected
  12.        between 24 june 92 and 24 december 93 from all patients who came to the
  13.        Projet SIDA laboratory. A clinical examination was completed for each
  14.        patient. The organon teknika was the Elisa that we used for that study.
  15.        Borderline results were defined as 20% of the cut off value above or
  16.        below that value. RESULTS: TABULAR DATA, SEE ABSTRACT VOLUME CONCLUSION:
  17.        Patients with negative borderline results had symptoms of Aids as
  18.        patients with positive borderline. It's important to follow patients
  19.        with borderline results of Elisa for serological, immunological and
  20.        clinical evaluation and to consider all results negative borderline as
  21.        indeterminate and to repeat them three months after.
